Gerald Ott - CrossFit Level 1 Trainer

Gerald Ott is a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer who began coaching because of the life-changing impact he has experienced personally through CrossFit. He started CrossFit in late 2015 to “get back in shape” after 7 years of not working out, not knowing that the program would change his life in ways he could never imagine. What started as a self-resolution soon turned into a new way of life, where a daily workout in a group setting was something he looked forward to. After seeing the benefits of CrossFit’s functional fitness regimen and noticing a growing desire to improve his nutrition and fuel his body to thrive in workout mode, Gerald wanted to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and give back to the organization that has given him so much. 

Gerald loves helping other CrossFit athletes accomplish their goals. His most proud coaching moments happen when someone overcomes a GOAT or hits a new PR. CrossFit has shown Gerald what it means to work towards being the best version of yourself – it’s a competition; you versus you. Gerald is a proud dad of two amazing daughters and a lucky husband of a strong wife, who is also an active member of the CrossFit community.
